Job summary

Riverty is seeking a Data Protection Expert (m/f/d) to advise on data protection topics across our international organization, with a base in Helsinki or Turku and flexible work arrangements.

You will manage the data protection management system within our integrated framework, collaborate in projects on Big Data and AI, and develop policies, audits, and training to ensure compliance with data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• You have a completed university degree with a focus on business/economics or law, ideally with a legal qualification.
• You have specialist expertise in data protection and 2–3 years of professional experience.
• You communicate in Finnish and English with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• You are the point of contact for business departments and management, providing advice on data protection matters and related topics.
• You manage the data protection management system as part of our integrated management system.
• You work in project teams on Big Data and AI to ensure processes meet data protection requirements.
• You develop data protection policies and conduct audits, deriving organizational and technical measures.
• You monitor regulatory developments and customer requirements to derive appropriate actions.
• You design and deliver data protection training sessions.
