Job summary

UPM is seeking a Data Product Owner to join our Data & Digital Enablement team, focusing on Sales and Operations Planning domain. You will own the data product vision, roadmap and backlog for assigned domains, translating business needs into well-defined data requirements.

Collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and governance teams, you will ensure data products follow data management principles, metadata standards and architecture guidelines, while driving data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information architecture and data modelling
• Strong understanding of data management principles including data modelling, metadata, master data, and data quality
• Solid understanding of information architecture and enterprise data frameworks
• Experience with data platforms, data engineering teams, and analytics solutions
• Experience in Sales or Operations Planning domains is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into data requirements
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the data product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned domains
• Translate business needs into well-defined, prioritized data product requirements
• Ensure data products are designed according to data management and information architecture principles
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and governance teams to deliver high-value data assets
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data models, metadata standards, and architecture guidelines
• Drive data quality, consistency, and lifecycle management across data products
• Promote reuse, standardisation, and interoperability across domains
• Contribute to UPM data governance and information management
• Design and drive development of high-quality, reusable data products that support business operations, analytics, and AI use cases
