Job summary
Optinova, a leader in advanced extrusion and medical device components, seeks a Data Platform Engineer to join the Digital Value Services team. You will design data pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop data products on cloud platforms, with opportunities to grow toward AI engineering.
Location options include Mariehamn, Åland or Uppsala, Sweden, with a salary range of 3,800–5,000 EUR monthly, depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
- Experience with SQL, Python or similar languages is required.
- Experience with data, AI pipelines, APIs, and automation is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, data products, and platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to productize challenges into scalable, reliable digital services.
- Develop domain-driven data products based on data mesh principles with clear ownership and access to data.
- Deliver solutions iteratively using an agile mindset and evolving priorities.
- Apply DevOps and DataOps practices, ensuring quality, security, governance, and compliance.
- Explore how data, AI, and automation can create measurable business value.
