Job summary

Finnair is building a data-enabled culture in Vantaa, Finland, seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design reliable data tools for customer, commercial, and operational domains. You will help shape the architecture, infrastructure, and tooling for our Data Warehouse, Ingestion & Transformation pipelines, and Workflow Orchestration.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Experience in change management in a complex technical environment.
• Interest in airline Industry.
• Excellent communication skills and positive mindset to work in a social, friendly and international team.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in at least some of our stack (see below).

DATA PLATFORM ENGINEER

to work on our Data and Platform Engineering team in Vantaa, Finland.

In this role, your job is to design reliable, secure, and user-friendly data tools for Finnair’s customer, commercial, and operational domains. You will be one of the leaders of the architecture, infrastructure and tooling development of our Data Warehouse, Data Ingestion & Transformation Tools, and Workflow Orchestration. You will learn the different aspects of our customer, commercial, and operational landscape. You will also work together with data engineers on shared practices and tools between different data domains.
