Job summary

If Vahinkovakuutus Oyj is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help enable teams across the organization to adopt and use its Azure-based data platform. You will work hands-on with engineers and analysts, turning onboarding lessons into reusable assets and best practices.

You will guide teams through initial implementations, provide support for Databricks, DBT, Git, and CI/CD, and work to remove blockers so business value can be delivered faster.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, DBT, Git, CI/CD and modern data platforms.
• Ability to understand technical challenges and business goals behind them.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to help teams succeed.
• Focus on adoption, productivity, and delivering business value through data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams through onboarding and initial implementations on Databricks and data tools.
• Provide hands-on support and knowledge sharing for Databricks, DBT, Git, CI/CD, and platform practices.
• Remove obstacles to move ideas to production faster and more reliably.
• Create or support templates, examples, and training materials for onboarding.
• Help engineers and analysts become productive faster on the data platform.
• Identify recurring challenges and translate them into better onboarding and docs.
