Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is assisting a client in Helsinki to hire 2–3 experienced Data Engineers for a major multi-year EDW program. The initial phase focuses on large-scale data ingestion using GCP technologies.

The role involves building and maintaining ingestion pipelines, collaborating with architects and platform teams, and delivering data flows in a large enterprise environment. Workload options include 50% onsite and 50% remote, with English as the working language.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience with GCP EDW including BigQuery, Datastream and Dataflow.
• Willingness to work on-site in Helsinki.
• Eligible for Finnish Government Security Clearance (residency requirement).

Job description

Our client is starting a major multi year Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) program and is looking for 2-3 experienced Data Engineers to join the team. The project begins with a large-scale ingestion phase in late 2026.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering
• Solid expertise with GCP EDW: BigQuery, Datastream, Dataflow and other core components
• Ability to work onsite in Helsinki
• Eligible for Finnish Government Security Clearance (requires several years of residency in Finland)

Role

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines and data processing flows
• Work with core GCP data tools in a large enterprise environment
• Collaborate with architects and platform teams in a multi-year program

Workload: 50% or 100%
Location: 50% onsite in Helsinki, 50% remote
