Job summary

SEB in Finland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for the Financial Crime Prevention team. You will build and maintain Java-based services and data processing capabilities to detect suspicious behavior and support investigations.

You will work end-to-end—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operations—in close collaboration with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines (streaming and/or batch) with large-scale datasets.
• Solid Java (Java 11+) experience and backend service development (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Hands-on with streaming/messaging (Pub/Sub) and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities
