Job summary

SEB is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to own and operate the CI/CD platform for our GCP-based data warehouse. You will ensure pipelines stay green, deployments are predictable, and the developer experience remains smooth while adhering to banking regulations.

You’ll work within a data engineering team to ensure the build/test/deploy machinery is auditable for auditors and to drive security governance, incident response, and health of the delivery infra.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
• Hands-on pipeline hardening: dependency pinning, container image scanning, vulnerability gating
• Familiarity with supply-chain security practices (SBOM, signed artifacts, immutable references)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools integrated into build pipelines
• Understanding of IAM, least-privilege and service account governance in cloud environments
• Track record of improving pipeline reliability, build times and developer experience
• Experience responding to incidents (post-mortems, remediation tracking)
• Experience using LLMs in development workflows (professional or personal projects)

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the CI/CD platform powering our GCP-based data warehouse, ensuring pipelines run reliably and securely
• Make deployments predictable and the developer experience smooth while meeting banking regulatory standards
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure build/test/deploy machinery is auditable and demonstrable to auditors
• Drive pipeline reliability, harden supply-chain security, and maintain governance documentation
• Share responsibility for day-to-day data engineering work with the team, focusing on health, security and compliance of build/delivery infra
