Job summary

SEB is seeking a data engineering professional to build and operate a GCP data platform that supports reporting and analytics, while enabling teams to publish data products. You will own pipelines, cloud infra, CI/CD, and data governance, with room to explore AI-enabled solutions within a broader cloud/data engineering role.

Qualifications

• Several years in software, cloud or data engineering.
• Delivery from requirements to production in collaboration with teams.
• Good grasp of GCP services like BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines and Git expertise.
• Understanding of data modelling and governance.
• Interest in applying AI to engineering problems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines from ingestion to delivery.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated checks.
• Investigate production issues and implement lasting fixes.
• Build monitoring, logging and data quality controls.
• Develop reusable Python components and patterns.
• Apply access controls and data governance practices.
• Collaborate on solution design and PI planning; onboard teams.
• Identify automation opportunities to simplify operations.
• Explore AI use cases and integrate useful solutions.
