Job summary

You will perform Remote Hands, install/ decommission servers, manage cross-connects, troubleshoot hardware, conduct inspections, and coordinate client access. Strong English, ability to lift 25 kg, and willingness to work weekends/holidays for urgent requests are required.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled Data Center Technician in Ulvila, Finland to provide on-site technical support at local data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps)
• Server rack installation and decommissioning
• Cross-connect and patch panel management
• Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Visual inspections and inventory audits
• Escort and access coordination for client visits
• Emergency response and on-call availability

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure
• Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards
• Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers
• Strong communication skills in English
