Job summary

Google is seeking a DC Electrical Engineer to support the Finland campus within the Data Center Engineering team. The role focuses on the technical delivery, field engineering support, and commissioning of electrical systems in global-scale data centers.

You will collaborate with facilities technicians and operations, driving safety, quality, and schedule alignment while engaging with stakeholders across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years in mission-critical facility design/construction.
• Experience supporting international construction projects.
• Experience with data center equipment/environments including switchgear, generators, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems.
• Experience in facility electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive electrical project outcomes and provide technical leadership for field issues.
• Define electrical scope and allocate resources within the project.
• Provide technical leadership to optimize design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning and safety for electrical discipline.
• Troubleshoot advanced electrical system events and escalate only the most complex issues.
• Develop cross-project procedures and align work with multiple teams.
