Job summary

Vitec Tietomitta seeks a Chief Technology Officer to own the Engineering organization and partner with leadership on product direction. The role guides architecture and builds a resilient, AI‑assisted development process for a cloud-native SaaS platform serving circular economy domains.

You will lead across frontend, backend, data, and Kubernetes, while shaping engineering culture and accountability, with close collaboration to executives and key customers.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership (CTO/VP Engineering) in a B2B SaaS company.
• Hands-on credibility to discuss architecture trade-offs and review code.
• Experience scaling product to multi-market or multi-tenant environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native, service-oriented systems and modern stack (Python/FastAPI, React, SQL).
• Ownership of engineering quality: testing, observability, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across frontend, backend, data, and Kubernetes platform.
• Lead engineering organization: hiring, structure, and team topology.
• Collaborate with CEO, product, and board; influence roadmap with technical input.
• Oversee budget, vendor management, and capacity planning.
• Balance architecture with commercial outcomes and customer needs.
