Job description

Do you get energized by working with creative people, podcasts, entertainment, and current trends? Are you known as a positive, hands-on can-do type who tackles challenges head-on? If so, you might be just the right person for this role!

We are now looking for a Creative Video Producer to join our team at Kasarmikatu in Helsinki.

This is the role

As Podimo’s Creative Video Producer, you will play a pivotal role as an audio-visual storyteller, shaping and executing campaigns in Finland. Reporting to the Global Creative Production Manager, and working closely with the Global Creative Leads (Global Creative Director, Global Associate Creative Director and Global Creative Director), together with Finland’s designers, internal, external stakeholders and creators alike. You will contribute to the development and execution of video content throughout the entire lifespan and funnel, ensuring a seamless balance between Podimo’s brand and our show brands, making them compelling, consistent, and strategically aligned.

In this role, you will thrive at the intersection of audio-visual production, post-production, as well as the technical and creative execution of AV content. You will be a key part of creative teams responsible for launching new shows through high-quality AV output. Together with creators, you will help shape the visual identity and spark conversation before launch. You will also fuel engagement during the initial launch phases, and afterwards convert awareness into listeners by delivering AV content for both owned and paid marketing channels.

This role requires a person who is versatile - equally confident in running a small-scale production or coordinating larger ones to ensure smooth execution.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

Production and Post-Production

  • Hands-on execution of small-scale productions handling all aspects from lighting, rigging, camera op, and audio capture with a high level of craft
  • Coordinate talent, crew and workflows to deliver polished results
  • Own the end-to-end post-production of a show promotional video from editing, sound, motion graphics, to versioning and delivery
  • Ensure all assets are optimised for platform specs and campaign goals

Show Activation and & Visual Identity

  • Collaborate with creators and coordinate with Podimo’s creatives (designers, GCD, GACD, Creative Production and market stakeholders) in developing show's visual identity
  • Produce launch-ready AV activations - trailers, teasers, highlights reels and ads that build anticipation and awareness

Marketing Assets Delivery

  • Continuously create and deliver AV content across the entire activation funnel to support audience awareness, engagement, and retention for both paid campaign and organic distribution.

Collaboration and Co-ordination

  • Work cross-functionally with creators, design and marketing teams to align creative vision with established campaign strategy.
  • Coordinate management of timelines, vendors and freelance support when scaling productions
  • Coordinate assets flow with vendors and freelance resources for external productions

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a producer/shooting producer in media, podcasts, or entertainment with a demonstrable body of work
  • Hands-on technical skill with lighting setups, rigging, sound recording and camera op
  • Strong post-production expertise
  • Strong organisational acumen and ability to handle multiple projects across different stages of creative development and delivery
  • A portfolio showcasing versatile production and post-production work.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities in both languages.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!

What We Offer

  • Equity Participation: All employees have the opportunity to benefit from company growth through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
