About Virtune

Virtune was founded in 2022 with the mission of driving crypto asset adoption forward for institutional and retail investors through an educational focus, a transparent market approach, and its regulated status.

The company is a Swedish-regulated crypto asset manager and issuer of 100% physically backed crypto exchange-traded products, domiciled in Sweden with a prospectus approved by the Swedish FSA. Since listing its first crypto ETP on Nasdaq Stockholm in May 2023, the company has experienced rapid growth across Europe.

Virtune has earned the trust of hundreds of thousands of investors, including institutions, private individuals, and financial advisors. Since its inception, Virtune has prioritized investor protection, and its success stems from a transparent, regulated approach and a strong commitment to educating the market about crypto assets and ETPs.

We are now expanding our team and looking for a Country Manager to support our continued growth in the Finnish market. This role is pivotal as we scale our successful Swedish operations into new countries. You will drive local business growth, manage key relationships, and ensure effective execution across distribution and other strategic initiatives.

The Country Manager's main role is to ensure that Virtune’s goals and objectives are aligned with local market conditions, investor and partner needs, and the regulatory environment. The role primarily involves responsibility for the distribution of Virtune’s ETP program within the region, covering all distribution verticals such as retail, brokers, institutional sales, and financial advisories.

Headquarters will support the local market with functions such as back office, operations, tech support, and marketing. The marketing team and the Country Manager will work closely to align marketing content and campaigns with local objectives and demands.

The primary objective is to drive business growth and profitability by developing and executing effective strategies that align with the company’s overall vision and goals. The Country Manager will be responsible for the market’s P&L and key KPIs, such as inflows, AUM, and the number of end-investors across different distribution verticals.

The Country Manager will act as the face of the company within the region, representing its interests and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including local partners and end-investors.

The Country Manager serves as a bridge between corporate headquarters and local operations, working closely with both internal teams and external partners to achieve optimal performance and results. The role includes conducting market analysis, identifying opportunities for expansion, establishing and maintaining partnerships, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all distribution partners within the region, such as brokers, banks, and other channels for distributing our offerings.
  • Maintain relationships with key service providers in the region, including stock exchanges and other relevant entities.
  • Hold P&L responsibility for the region, including budgeting and outcomes, as well as accountability for key KPIs such as inflows, number of investors per distribution vertical, and AUM.
  • Manage and execute sales and marketing activities with the support of headquarters and its marketing and operational functions.
  • Promote and develop Virtune as a brand in the region through sales, marketing, and PR activities.
  • Participate in and help organize various events and webinars, with the ability and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including sales, marketing, and partnership activities.
  • Research and analyze market opportunities, identify potential distribution partners, develop business proposals, and negotiate deals with partners in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Develop and execute business plans and strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor marketing plans and assess ROI.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest and curiosity in crypto assets.
  • Previous work experience (3–5 years or more) in the financial sector, preferably as a Country Manager or Sales Manager for a securities issuer, asset manager, or similar organization.
  • Based in Helsinki or the surrounding area with an extensive network among brokers and banks.
  • Fluent in both Finnish and English.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and to headquarters on agreed dates.
  • Outstanding leadership and general management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking abilities.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, doer mentality.
