Overview

Corporate A&H Lead / Head of Corporate A&H - Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam regions. Chubb is looking for top talent. Do you have Accident and Health experience from a local or global insurance company and want to grow your skills in one of the world’s largest insurance companies? We are looking for an insurance professional to lead our Corporate A&H business in the Northern Region (Nordics and Benelux). The role is placed in one of our offices in either Nordics or Benelux and may involve travel within Europe. Join our growing team and become an integral part of our international organization. As a Corporate A&H Leader, you will work with a team of dedicated colleagues, driving high-quality underwriting and contributing to the profitable growth of our Northern business.

Key Responsibilities

• P&L Responsibility – Prepare and execute a business plan for Corporate A&H with key actions and tactics. Deliver and exceed the Corporate A&H financial plan.
• Strategy Development: Set strategies and tactics based on market analysis, company appetite, and competitor insights.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain excellent relationships with brokers, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Market Understanding: Continuously monitor and understand market conditions and changes.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing programs and partnerships.
• Team Management: Oversee a team based in the Benelux and Nordics and drive the team’s development. Work with regional managers to ensure training and mentoring support, ensuring appropriate authority delegation. Support robust succession planning across the practice.
• Underwriting Referral: Act as the main referral point for A&H Corporate in the region.
• Product Development: Develop and seek opportunities to innovate within A&H Corporate, working with other stakeholders (including other product lines) to generate new ideas. Regularly conduct and share market research and intelligence. Identify and harness new opportunities.
• Operational Management: Understand, interpret, and communicate Strategic Priorities of the Line of Business. Monitor and manage resource allocation to meet objectives, contribute to People Managers, and address broker needs. Shape and refresh roles to maximise potential and manage performance of the team and individuals.

Qualifications

Profile requirements

• Education: Suitable degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in the insurance market, including people management. Experience in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nordic and/or Benelux insurance market, particularly in corporate insurance.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and commercial acumen.
  • A "can-do" attitude, team player mentality, and client-oriented focus.
  • Service-minded and open to working outside regular business hours if necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).
