Job summary

Enersense Engineering is seeking experienced Construction Project Planners to join our growing project teams across Finland. You will manage detailed schedules from planning through commissioning and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to keep projects on track.

The role emphasizes ownership, planning excellence, and delivering insightful progress reports while supporting long-term client relationships with a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
  • Background in large-scale technical construction projects (infrastructure, oil & gas, data centres).
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, and planning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve detailed project schedules and planning processes.
  • Prepare schedule plans to support tender and bid submissions.
  • Monitor project progress and deliver clear progress reports to management.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and drive planning excellence through the lifecycle.
  • Support client account management and contribute to long-term client relationships.
  • Coordinate and update schedules across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Define resource requirements based on project timelines and scope.
  • Identify schedule deviations and develop corrective actions.
  • Represent planning in client and subcontractor meetings.
  • Support other projects as part of a collaborative delivery team.

Job description

Enersense Engineering is looking for experienced Construction Project Planners to join growing project teams supporting major client projects across Finland. With new projects kicking off after the summer, this is a great opportunity to step into high-impact roles where your planning expertise can make a difference.

As a Construction Project Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale technical construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, clients and other stakeholders to keep everything on track from early planning through to commissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving detailed project schedules and planning processes
  • Preparing schedule plans to support tender and bid submissions
  • Monitoring project progress and delivering clear, insightful progress reports to management
  • Taking ownership of assigned projects and driving planning excellence throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting client account management and contributing to long‑term client relationships
  • Coordinating and updating schedules across pre‑construction, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Defining resource requirements based on project timelines and scope
  • Identifying schedule deviations and developing practical corrective actions
  • Representing planning and scheduling in client and subcontractor meetings
  • Supporting other projects as part of a collaborative project delivery team
Requirements
