Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Harding Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Care Technician to join a 40-hour regular shift on an inpatient psychiatric unit. You will be part of a collaborative care team with an RN, PCT, UCA, and other staff to deliver patient-centered care across inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in patient care in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.
• Successful completion of PCA training course after hire.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a care team to provide patient care and supportive services.
• Support the care plan and involvement of patients in their own care.
• Participate in 24-hour inpatient care and related psychiatric services.
