Schneider Electric, together with one of their largest customers, has embarked on a significant collaboration aimed at optimizing and streamlining data center operations. By combining their expertise in energy and digital management, they have developed innovative solutions that enhance both energy efficiency and sustainability in data center operations.

As a Commissioning engineer, you will work on deploying Schneider's application solutions by testing and managing electrical control panels, generators, UPS devices, and other control systems. You will configure the equipment to ensure proper communication with other systems and protocols.

To ensure a strong start, you will receive induction training and participate in Schneider’s internal training programs. You will be part of a small team with an open, collaborative atmosphere.

Work tasks

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical monitoring systems and equipment are functioning correctly before being put into operation. Your main tasks will include:

• Configuring and commissioning the complete application solution
• Conducting general electrical monitoring to ensure specifications and standards are met
• Performing various tests to identify potential issues and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely

We are looking for

• Suitable educational background in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical engineering gained through education or previous work experience
• Strong and genuine interest in both technology and data
• Fluency in English
• Valid B driving license

It is meritorious if you have

• Fluency in Finnish
• Previous experience working with servers or switches
• Knowledge or experience of SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, or other communication protocols
