About the Role
Clear are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team, focusing on data centre projects in Espoo and Kirkkonummi. You will lead the commissioning, testing, and start-up of electrical systems, including busbars, UPS systems, generators, and switchgear, ensuring maximum reliability, safety, and performance in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning and start-up of data centre electrical systems, including busbar installations, power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and switchgear.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, checklists, and reports specific to high-availability facilities.
- Provide technical support during installation and handover, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and best practices for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams, providing technical guidance and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of busbar systems, low and medium voltage distribution, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
- Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and start-up of complex electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
