Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy seeks a hands-on Pilot Development Lead to drive the pilot-scale extraction and upscaling of cocoa bean shell and pod husk streams into high-value products. You will lead feedstock characterisation, testing, and process evaluation, manage technology suppliers, and ensure commercial-ready, quality-assured outputs across international programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in biorefinery, extraction, food ingredients, pharma ingredients or specialty-chemicals processes.

Responsibilities

• Pilot CBS theobromine/polyphenol and CPH pectin processes.
• Lead feedstock characterisation and yield/purity testing.
• Evaluate extraction, filtration, solvent-recovery, concentration and drying systems.
• Develop food/nutraceutical-grade quality and customer qualification.
• Integrate residues into biogas, biochar and fertiliser pathways.
• Prepare evidence-based commercial scale-up decisions.
