Job summary

Muovitarvike Kuisma Oy in Somero is seeking a CNC Cutter / CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. You will cut plastics and rubbers using a CNC cutter and create tool paths; changeovers are frequent in our short runs, and some manual work is required.

We value experience but are happy to train, and CAD skills are an advantage. You will work a permanent day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00–16:00, with potential for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC cutting and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Willing to learn and adapt; CAD skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Cut plastics and rubbers with a CNC cutter and create tool paths.
• Handle frequent changeovers during short production runs.

Due to increasing production volumes, we are now seeking for Somero:

CNC Cutter / CNC Machine Operator

Versatile duties include, among other things, cutting various plastics and rubbers with a CNC cutter and creating tool paths. The production runs are short, so changeovers are frequent. The tasks also include manual work.

You will receive a good orientation for the tasks. We value work experience and expertise, but we are also ready to teach. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn new things and is not afraid to get to work. CAD skills are an advantage for the applicant, as well as a careful work approach and the ability to read drawings.

We offer the possibility of long-term employment, a permanent employment contract in day shift, with working hours on weekdays from 7:00 to 16:00.
