Overview
Lapland Staff is looking for Christmas Coordinators for the various locations of Lapland Safaris for the Christmas season 2025. We are looking for coordinators for Levi and Rovaniemi.
Responsibilities
- Handle and organize the safari programs for charter flight travelers.
- Form a team to manage Christmas operations, with the operators daily schedule as the core.
- Coordinate transportation scheduling, cooperate with tour operators, and manage bookings for various safaris with suppliers.
- Work as part of a team, with the ability to perform independently when needed, and act as a guide if required.
- In Levi, support elf guide duty managers and optional excursion coordinators; pre-book excursions in Lapland Safaris ERP system; assist representatives with on-site sales bookings; manage excursion allotments; communicate with excursion suppliers; handle end-of-day liquidation of sales.
- In Rovaniemi, work in two teams (depending on tour operator) with similar tasks to Levi; driving license is mandatory.
- Take care of on-site operations, act as the contact person for subcontractors, prepare the next day\'s schedules, and transport elf guides to and from work as needed. Be ready to switch roles (e.g., take an elf role) for breaks or sick leave.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active and energetic attitude with suitable education and prior experience in the tourism field in Lapland; flexible and firm approach to tasks.
- Ability to work in a busy December travel month; strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent verbal and written English; knowledge of Finnish is a big advantage; other language skills and guiding/tourism experience are advantages.
- Experience with computers and different systems; excellent knowledge of MS Excel for managing optional sales and bookings.
- For Rovaniemi, a driving license is mandatory.

Employment Details
- Fixed-term seasonal contract under the Collective Agreement in the Adventure Services sector.
- Work starts in October/November 2025 and lasts until early-to-mid January 2026. Specifically, work starts on 14 November 2025 and ends in early January 2026.
- Salary according to the Collective Agreement (Adventure Services grade B-C), hourly wage starting at 12 € (gross).
- Work includes weekends and public holidays; Sundays and Finnish bank holidays paid double.
- Accommodation is organized (except in Rovaniemi) in shared rooms at a reasonable cost.
