A leading company in Power Electronics is seeking senior professionals for modelling, simulation, and electronics design tasks. This position requires a strong educational background in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering, alongside proficiency in design tools and circuit implementation. Ideal candidates will possess excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively in technical projects.
Role Summary
We are seeking senior professionals in Power Electronics for modelling, simulation and electronics design tasks in various product development projects. In this position you will be defining the architecture, topology and detailed design example for power converters and electrical drives. Simulation driven design will be also in your toolbox.
You have good analytical and problem-solving skills and preferably hold an M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering or in a similar applicable area. You are fluent in written and spoken English and Finnish as well as a strong team player. In addition you come equipped with a customer-oriented approach and good communication skills.
Based on your background and skills we are looking chief and / or senior level experts to join our team.
It’s also good to know that we dont offer relocation support.
Your main responsibilities
– Hands-on design and implementation of different Power Electronics solutions – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements – Create requirement and implementation specifications and test plans – In Chief position you will lead the technical implementation of projects
Your skills and experience
– You already have 5+ years of experience in electronics design – Power control theory, control modelling and simulations – Circuit design and simulations – Semiconductor technology and components – IGBT, GaN and SiC – EMC, Thermal and Magnetics design – Reliability engineering and methods, FMEA, MTBF – Regulatory requirements for electrical safety and EMC – Tools for modelling, simulation and design capture, like Matlab, Simulink, Plecs, PADS or Altium

– Testing and verification of power electronics designs – Electronics manufacturing technologies and DFM – The automotive industry, battery chargers and battery technologies – Frequency converters and electrical drives – Control implementation and software development
