Qualifications

• PhD or DPhil in a life sciences discipline.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles within pharma/biotech.
• Proven success advancing discovery programmes from concept to clinic.
• Experience applying AI and computational approaches in discovery.
• Collaborative leader with client focus and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a forward-looking scientific strategy aligned to client needs.
• Lead AI-assisted design, modelling, automation, and translational approaches.
• Provide scientific leadership across a diverse discovery portfolio.
• Support strategic client engagements, proposals, and partnerships.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams across biology, chemistry, and computational sciences.
• Act as a senior scientific ambassador with clients and industry stakeholders.
