Overview

We are now looking for a CATEGORY SALES MANAGER, BEAUTY to join Stockmann's brand new Digital Commerce unit, which is at the heart of delivering our omnichannel customer experience. In this role you will play a key role in driving profitable growth in the Beauty category across digital channels in three markets and ensuring seamless customer experiences in our omnichannel model. You can be located either in Finland, Estonia or Latvia.

Where is your expertise needed?

As a Category Sales Manager, Beauty you will own the category sales, ensure healthy margins and maximize conversion by optimizing assortment, activities, and product presentation.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop & implement commercial strategy beauty category, incl. newness, bestsellers and capitalizing on beauty trends & virality
  • Plan, optimize & execute commercial activities and launches
  • Analyze and act on category insights: sales, promotions, stock flow, customer behaviour
  • Develop strategic pricing initiatives
  • Analyze competitors & suggest ways to develop competitiveness
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, AI discoverability, and search intent to maximize organic and agent-based visibility
  • Full accountability for sales and profitability in the beauty category in digital commerce
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Retail Media teams on beauty-specific activations
What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in eCommerce, digital sales or online category management/assortment planning
  • Proven hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms and tools such as SFCC, Shopify, Google Analytics, Power BI, and PIM systems
  • A strong track record of driving revenue growth across digital channels

We also value:

  • A commercial mindset with sharpness in timing, campaigns, product appeal, and trend awareness - combined with a strong passion for beauty
  • Experience with content management systems, A/B testing, CRM & personalization tools (e.g., Hubspot, Algonomy, SFCC Einstein)
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, including advanced Excel use, data visualization, and reporting
  • Solid background in growth hacking and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives
  • Good understanding of SEO and AI optimization strategies

Additional requirements:

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and at least one of our local languages
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
