Job summary

Kuomiokoski Oy in Finland is seeking a skilled joiner/carpenter to operate manual woodworking machines and perform various workshop tasks in the wood factory. The role focuses on shaping wood, planing, milling and grinding, with some assembly and packing duties.

Prior woodworking experience and machine setup skills are required. The work week is 40 hours, Monday to Thursday, with early start times, and Fridays off.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled JOINER/Carpenter for Kuomiokoski Oy in a permanent position. The role primarily involves operating manual woodworking machines and various other workshop tasks in the wood factory. Prior experience in woodworking and with different machines is required. You should have setup skills for machines and cutting tools. At Kuomiokoski factory, production focuses on high-quality brush handles, brush bodies and painting tools. The job includes processes such as shaping wood, planing, milling and grinding. In addition to machine operation, there are some assembly and packing tasks.

The work-week is 40 hours, Monday to Thursday; hours are 5:00–15:30 Mon–Wed and 4:30–14:20 Thu; Fridays off. Employment with Kuomiokoski Oy; StaffPoint handles recruitment. Start date upon agreement with the right candidate.
