Job summary

Job description

The role involves contributing to embedded software architecture, design, implementation and testing tasks, and software development for wireless communications devices. You should have strong C/C++ programming skills, experience with development tools (e.g., gcc, git), and be comfortable working with Linux as the operating system. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and teamwork is expected, as well as fluent written and spoken English. 2-5 years of experience in similar tasks is desired. Knowledge of RF/radiotechnologies and embedded software is a plus. The position offers opportunity to work at the core of technology developing modern SDR solutions, advanced waveforms and tactical communications technologies used in defence and authorities contexts in Finland and internationally. The work is performed on-site at Bittium offices in Kajaani or Oulu.
