We are looking for a Business Coordinator for a fixed-term position in the City of Espoo’s Economic Development unit, whose mission is to build sustainable growth and vitality in Espoo.
Your main workplace will be at Espoo Talent Hub in Otaniemi, where teams from the city’s economic development and employment units work together. Our shared goal is to enable encounters between employers and international professionals who have moved to Finland for studies, work, or family reasons. We work actively in various networks, both within the city organization and externally. The position is an essential part of the Talent Boost network and the close collaboration with Finland’s six largest cities, the Work in Finland functions, and the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce to promote international recruitment both in Finland and abroad.

In addition to English, the most widely spoken languages in Espoo include Russian, Estonian, Arabic, Somali, and Chinese. Knowledge of these languages is considered an advantage, while fluent written and spoken English is required. Since you will be interacting with employer clients, some of whom may find recruiting foreign-language employees challenging, it is important that you are able to handle at least basic phone conversations in Finnish.
