Job summary

RBC in Markham is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a local team, deliver a memorable client experience, and act as an RBC ambassador within the community. You will coach staff, drive multichannel client acquisition, and ensure strong engagement while growing sales and market share.

The role requires mutual funds accreditation, a branch management exam, and at least 3 years in people leadership. You will promote digital access and collaboration across channels to support community finance needs.

Qualifications

• Mutual funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) and at least 2 years of licensed mutual funds sales in the last 3 years.
• Completed mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI, or willing to write within 4 months of start.
• Minimum 3 years in a people management role.
• Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset.
• Ability to employ digital channels and drive client awareness of RBC digital access.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead a team to deliver a memorable client experience.
• Support client acquisitions through multiple channels including local partners.
• Lead resource allocation to grow sales, revenue and market share.
• Maintain high employee engagement through recruitment and development.
• Coach on client advice, resolution, and promote digital enablement.
• Address gaps identified in operational, credit and compliance reviews.
