The University of Turku’s Turku Bioscience Centre is inviting applications for a Project Researcher in the Westermarck lab in Turku, Finland. The appointment starts on 1 January 2027 (or as agreed) and runs through 31 December 2029.

The role centers on supporting experimental work in on-going projects and data analysis, with possible laboratory animal work. The successful candidate will hold a Master of Science in natural sciences with solid hands-on experience in biochemical experiments and

Qualifications

• Master of Science level education in natural sciences is required.
• Solid hands-on experience in biochemical experiments and working with cell lines is needed.
• English skills required; Finnish language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support experimental work in ongoing research projects and participate in data analysis.
• May include laboratory animal work as part of project tasks.
• Collaborate with experienced researchers and help maintain and develop laboratory routines and techniques.
