Job summary

PE Global are recruiting an experienced BIM Lead for a site-based role in Vaasa, Finland, on a hyperscale data centre project. The role requires 8+ years of experience across large projects and an engineering degree.

AutoCAD experience is preferred, with strong organisation and communication skills. This full-time, on-site position involves coordinating BIM delivery across multiple disciplines, liaising with site teams and client, and leading a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with the WTL site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure the standard WTL BIM procedures are being followed.
• Manage the team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver on BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives related to BIM technologies and new processes.
• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules, according to the project BIM Execution plan.

They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for an experienced BIM Lead to join their expanding team in Vaasa, Finland. This role will be fully site based working on a hyperscale data centre project. There is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer, candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport, or the appropriate working visa.
