Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join a Finland-based data centre delivery team. The role focuses on coordinating BIM across disciplines, delivering 2D and 3D models, and ensuring alignment with project requirements within European data centre projects.

The candidate will work on large-scale, mission-critical installations, collaborating with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to deliver coordinated BIM models on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with Revit and MEP coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Produce drawings, specifications and schedules in line with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Deliver 2D and 3D coordination milestones across each project.
• Coordinate complex MEP installations with package managers and site engineers.
• Mentor junior BIM team members and share knowledge.
• Ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models meet project requirements.

An established data centre delivery specialist is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its expanding team in Finland.

The business delivers turnkey data centre projects across Europe, providing services throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and engineering through to construction and commissioning. Its multidisciplinary expertise covers civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering.

With multiple large-scale data centre projects underway across Europe, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team working on major mission-critical infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Produce drawings, specifications and schedules in line with the project BIM Execution Plan.
• Take responsibility for delivering 2D and 3D coordination milestones throughout each project.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Support junior BIM team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Help ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models are delivered to meet project requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience using Revit, with a strong MEP focus.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• At least 4 years' experience working across multiple large-scale projects.
• A relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar discipline.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
