Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy is seeking a BIM Coordinator for its Grid Integration team in Vaasa, Finland. The role focuses on managing the CDE, maintaining models, and coordinating with global colleagues, clients, and subcontractors within an international project environment.

You will implement BIM tools, lead design reviews, and develop BIM modeling guidelines across the project lifecycle. The position requires 3+ years in BIM, Finnish and English language proficiency, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with BIM coordination in large or medium projects.
• Fluent Finnish with strong written and spoken English is required.
• Knowledge of BIM standards in Finland and Nordic countries.

Responsibilities

• Manage project Common Data Environment (CDE) and provide training/support to project teams.
• Implement BIM tools in projects and deliver trainings to engineering and site personnel.
• Conduct 3D design reviews and model coordination meetings, including clash detection.
• Prepare BIM modeling requirements and guidelines for project lifecycle.
• Oversee BIM model development and content management.
• Create 3D renderings and animations when needed.
• Contribute to project budgets/estimates and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for international project delivery.
• Support Nordic and European BIM processes and tool usage.
