Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Vaasa seeks a BIM Coordinator to manage the Common Data Environment, develop 3D/4D models and coordinate clashes across Nordic projects. You will implement BIM tools, deliver training to engineers, project managers and site personnel, and support digitalization initiatives in a multinational setting.

Requirements include 3+ years with Navisworks and Revit, strong BIM standards knowledge in Finland and the Nordics, a bachelor’s degree, and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, design, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Navisworks and Revit
• Good knowledge of BIM cloud platforms BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma
• Fluent Finnish and English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Manage the project Common Data Environment and provide training to project teams
• Implement BIM tools and deliver training to Engineering, Project Management and site personnel
• Conduct 3D design reviews and model coordination meetings, clash-detection and coordination
• Prepare BIM modeling requirements and guidelines from contract requirements for project lifecycle
• Manage BIM model development and create 3D renderings when needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for international project delivery
