Job summary

A travel agency specializing in Scandinavia is seeking a Sales Manager to manage the full B2B sales cycle. The role includes maintaining client accounts and coordinating travel service orders. Candidates must have at least 3 years of sales experience in the travel industry, fluent English (C1+), and strong teamwork skills. This position offers remote work, with occasional office work in Finnish Lapland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full B2B sales cycle, from inquiry to completion
  • Following up on client cases during the operations stage
  • Coordinating travel service orders with both suppliers and the in-house operations team
  • Handling customer and supplier billing and managing client accounts
  • Preparing sales reports for company management
  • Participating in training sessions (remote & on-site in sales destinations)
  • Attending fam-trips to key sales destinations

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Remote work from any location within 2 hours of GMT+2 (Finland)
  • Office-based work around 4 months a year (during October-January) in Levi, Finnish Lapland
  • Company provides accommodation during office-based months
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Main working language: English (C1+ level required)
  • Knowledge of French, German, or other languages is a strong advantage

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within a tour operator/travel agency specializing in Finland/Scandinavia
  • Excellent English skills (C1+ level) (written & spoken)
  • Strong self-discipline and accuracy
  • Good numerical and calculation skills
  • Results-driven approach with strong task completion skills
  • High teamwork capability
  • Willingness to travel or relocate for 4 months a year to Finnish Lapland
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously update knowledge of destination products

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a similar position within a travel company in Finland/Scandinavia
  • Familiarity with customer service & sales processes in the travel industry
