Pareto is a growing software company built around experienced professionals and a sharp focus on what delivers results.
We currently have over 50 senior software professionals on our team, and we’re hiring more this year. We’re looking for an Azure engineer who wants to design and operate clean, secure platforms that data teams can rely on.
We are building a secure, scalable Azure foundation for a cloud data platform spanning on-premises systems, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
This is a platform role with a strong data focus. You’ll own the infrastructure that makes data workloads possible: networking, identity, security, and environment management. You’ll work closely with data engineers to make sure pipelines and deployments run on a foundation that’s reliable and well-governed.
Design and operate Azure infrastructure supporting Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric. Own networking, identity, and security for data workloads.
Design secure connectivity between on-premises sites and Azure. Implement least-privilege access using managed identities and role-based access.
Manage secrets, credentials, and environment separation across dev, test, and production.
Support cost monitoring and governance for data workloads. Work closely with data engineers to enable reliable pipelines and deployments.
Solid hands‑on experience with Azure networking: virtual networks, private endpoints, and firewalls. Strong understanding of identity and access management in Azure.
Experience supporting production workloads, preferably data platforms. A security‑first mindset with pragmatic trade‑off awareness.
Ability to collaborate across teams and explain infrastructure decisions clearly.
Experience with Snowflake on Azure, Fabric, Synapse, or Databricks‑style platforms is valued. So is infrastructure‑as‑code experience and exposure to regulated or security‑sensitive environments.
This position requires regular partial presence at our Tampere office. Remote status: Hybrid.
Salary based on your experience: 5000–6500 EUR/month.
Comprehensive benefits: extensive occupational healthcare, leisure‑time accident and travel insurance, lunch benefit, recreation benefit, phone and internet allowances, and work tools of your choice.
