Job summary

KeyStaff Oy in Kokkola is seeking an experienced Automotive Painter for a full-time role in modern facilities equipped with high-quality tools. You will perform vehicle surface prep, priming, spray painting, clear coating, color matching and finish work in a two-shift rotation (morning and evening) with 37.5 hours per week.

We value independent refinishing skills from prep to topcoat, Finnish or English language ability, a valid Category B driver's license, careful and precise work, and strong

Responsibilities

• Spot repairs as well as complete vehicle resprays.
• Quality control and color accuracy inspections.
• Close collaboration with the paint shop, body shop team, and management.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Painters for our client in Kokkola for a full-time position. You will be working with versatile auto refinishing and surface preparation tasks in modern facilities with high-quality equipment.

Versatile Duties of an Automotive Painter:

• Vehicle surface prep: sanding, leveling, rust repairs, and pretreatment
• Primer application, spray painting, and clear coating in a professional paint booth
• Restoring, color matching, and finishing paint surfaces across various car brands and models
• Spot repairs as well as complete vehicle resprays
• Quality control and color accuracy inspections
• Close collaboration with the paint shop, body shop team, and management

What We Expect From You:

• Experience in Automotive Painting: You can independently handle all stages of auto refinishing from prep work to topcoat spraying.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Finnish or English.
• Valid Driver’s License (Category B): Ability to move vehicles within the workshop and paint shop premises.
• Work Ethic: Careful, precise, and self-driven approach with strong teamwork skills.

Advantages / Nice-to-Have:

• Vocational degree in the automotive field (e.g., Automotive Refinisher / Painter)
• Experience with modern waterborne paints and spray painting systems
• Valid Occupational Safety Card or Hot Work Card
