Job summary

AMETEK Finland Oy in Espoo is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our production team. You will work on equipment and process automation development, collaborate with the global AMETEK and supplier base, and help optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes process stability, continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and close cooperation with Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with CAD modeling, electrical design and programming is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and data analysis ability.
• Fluent Finnish and English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Design experiments to improve product quality and production yield.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma) and CAPA.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain.
• Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
