Beneq in Espoo is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and maintain the automation software for our Spatial ALD equipment. You will work with mechanical, electrical and process teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions from design to commissioning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• BSc or MSc in automation engineering.
• Experience in PLC software development.
• Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or Codesys with IEC 61131-3 structured text.
• Experience with servo drives and motors.
• Experience with HTML5/JS-based HMI tools is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation software for Spatial ALD equipment.
• Deliver automation solutions with safety, quality and maintainability.
• Design and improve HMI applications and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Produce and maintain software documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and customer deployments worldwide.
