Job summary
Tampere University seeks an Assistant Professor in cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry to lead innovative research and contribute to teaching in MET. You will pursue independent research, supervise graduate and postdoctoral researchers, and collaborate with national and international partners as well as clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field and postdoctoral training.
- Internationally recognized scholarly activity and potential for securing external funding.
- Teaching experience is considered favorable and needed for the duties.
- Proficiency in English; Finnish language training offered if needed.
Responsibilities
- Pursue and supervise high-level research in cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry.
- Collaborate with local, national, and global partners and clinical stakeholders.
- Contribute to teaching and degree education; secure external funding.
