Job Description

At our Finland ASIC development centers in Oulu and Espoo, we develop ASICs for Bosch's consumer and industrial sensing applications. As an ASIC EDA engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Configuration and Integration Management: Oversee design flow integrity, support project setup, and configurations.
• IP-Lifecycle Management: Manage PDKs and external IPs, including download, installation, and documentation.
• Administering EDA software licenses: Manage costs and monitor usage.
• Set-up service contracts with EDA vendors: Plan support tasks and track progress.
• User Support and Training: Create user setups, onboard external service providers, and support/train users on EDA tools.
• Facilitate collaboration with expert domains and designers: Ensure best practices and optimization in ASIC projects.

Qualifications

• Personality: Enthusiastic, creative, and willing to work in international, interdisciplinary teams.
• Working Practice: Effective team player with a focused, independent work style.
• Experience: Proven industry experience with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA) and version control systems (e.g., Perforce Helix Core/IPLM).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of ASIC design flow and methodologies; proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) for automation.
• Languages: Proficient in English.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent with excellent results.
