ARX Children and Youth Culture Centre in Hämeenlinna is seeking a fixed-term Art Educator to design and deliver workshops for school groups and ARX events and festivals, including the Valoilmiö light art festival. This is a fixed-term contract for a full‑time Art Educator role at the ARX Children and Youth Culture Centre in Hämeenlinna.
The successful candidate will design and deliver workshops for school groups and ARX events and festivals, including activities in the Valoilmiö light art festival. The role requires capabilities to conduct art education for children and youth, develop new ways to engage participants using digital art methods, media art and creative technologies, and to assist with running hobby groups offered by the cultural centre.
We hope you bring strong media art and digital media method skills, experience working with children and youth, and fluency in Finnish and English.
A valid driving licence is required.
