Job summary

ICEYE Oy, Espoo, Finland, is seeking an AOCS Engineer to join the Spacecraft Analysis, Orbit and Attitude Control team. You will analyze on-orbit performance, define verification procedures, and lead anomaly investigations across a 40+ satellite constellation to keep SAR imagery precise.

You'll work in a hybrid model with collaboration across engineering domains, contributing to design, testing, and operations while advancing AOCS fundamentals and software tools like Python and Git.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Physics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience designing, operating, or testing AOCS equipment or spacecraft hardware.
• Strong understanding of AOCS fundamentals and astrodynamics.
• Working knowledge of Python and Git.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve on-orbit performance of AOCS components across a constellation of 40+ satellites.
• Lead market studies and trade evaluations for new ADCS and propulsion hardware.
• Define, execute, and maintain verification procedures for AOCS components.
• Lead or contribute to AOCS anomaly investigations across multiple engineering domains.
• Maintain and improve operational procedures related to AOCS.
• Drive process improvements that affect the full in-orbit satellite constellation.
• Partner with satellite operations, radar, mechanical, electronics, manufacturing, and product teams.
