About the role
In this role, you will take part in a significant and large‑scale product development project, where you will be responsible for the design of DA‑Designs antenna arrays, including their electromagnetic performance and technical implementation. You will act as a key contributor from the concept phase to production, ensuring that solutions meet the specified requirements.
You will work in close collaboration with electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, and software engineers. Your role involves navigating the trade‑offs between performance, mechanical constraints, and manufacturability, making technical decisions that ensure optimal product functionality in demanding conditions.

Work tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of antenna systems, particularly antenna arrays. Your work will include prototyping, development of measurement methods, simulations, as well as performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Design of antenna systems, especially antenna arrays
- Prototyping of antennas, feed networks, and filters, and verification of performance through measurements
- Development of new calibration and measurement methods
- Analysis of real‑world performance of antenna and RF systems and troubleshooting of product issues
- High‑precision simulations for electrically large antenna arrays or reflector antennas
- Deep understanding of antenna array interactions and electromagnetic fields
- Understanding of the RF chain up to digital signal processing and data analysis
- Close collaboration with the rest of the team
We are looking for
- Strong expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST)
- Strong experience with RF test equipment (e.g., VNA, spectrum analyzer)
- Previous experience in designing and implementing antenna array projects
- Deep understanding of the RF chain up to digital processing
Meritorious if you have
- Experience in custom PCB design (e.g., Altium)
- Strong knowledge of antenna and RF concepts
- Experience in phased array and reflector antenna product development
- Familiarity with antenna measurement techniques (e.g., anechoic chambers, near‑field and far‑field measurements)
