What you will do

In this position, you will design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions that advance intelligent automation and deliver measurable business value, shaping both our technical capability and customer impact through thoughtful experimentation, responsible development, and collaborative solution design.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Design and build AI-powered components that solve real-world business challenges, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP), intelligent document processing (IDP), and predictive analytics.
• Improve large language model (LLM) workflows, using techniques such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), model selection, evaluation and fine-tuning.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that are technically sound, aligned with client needs, and supported by accurate cost and effort estimations.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable code using AI pipelines and automation frameworks to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Continuously evaluate and experiment with emerging tools and AI models, integrating the most effective ones into existing systems or proposing new value-driven use cases.
• Support deployment and monitoring of AI components in production environments, working with technical teams to ensure stability, adaptability, and traceability.
• Document design decisions, technical approaches, and learning outcomes to promote transparency, scalability, and continuous improvement across the AI engineering team.

Who you are

• A curious, solution-oriented thinker with a strong drive to quickly understand complex problems and design effective technical solutions.
• Experienced or deeply interested in the practical implementation of AI and Machine Learning models and workflows.
• Passionate about developing and working with Agentic and Generative AI solutions, including hands-on familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures, and frameworks like LangGraph.
• Proficient in programming (e.g., Python, Typescript) with exposure to cloud development (e.g., Azure Functions) and modern web technologies (e.g., Next.js, React.js, PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Familiar with or eager to master the Azure AI ecosystem (e.g., Azure AI Foundry) and general practices for cloud-native AI development and integration.
• Driven to grow into a senior engineer role and committed to taking ownership of your professional development.
• Comfortable acting as a technical partner to clients, working directly with customers on diverse, high-impact projects.
• Fluent in both Finnish and English, capable of seamless communication in a diverse local and international environment.
