Job summary

GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) in the Helsinki‑Vantaa area is seeking a skilled Material Planner to coordinate material flow for jet engine repairs. You will work with Customer Support, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure material availability for overhauls and repairs, plan parts, monitor inventory, and drive improvements in the supply chain.

This on‑site, permanent role sits in the Procurement team of 10 planners and purchasers.

Qualifications

• Technical education or relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal English skills; Finnish language skills are a bonus.
• Knowledge of material planning and/or purchasing process.
• Proactive mindset and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours occasionally to meet business needs.
• Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions that benefit the business.
• A keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan parts to be installed to engine.
• Proactively manage and monitor inventory levels.
• Issue purchase requisitions and oversee inventory purchasing.
• Execute configuration control.
• Monitor and improve supply chain in co‑operation with purchasing team.
