Summary of the role

We are now looking for an Account Executive to drive our growing existing customer sales activities mainly in Finland. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in nurturing long-term customer relationships and driving revenue growth within our existing customer base. You\'ll act as a strategic advisor, uncovering opportunities to expand product adoption, deliver value and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

You will need to grasp the fundamentals of the M-Files intelligent information management software, have an outgoing personality and professional approach that will enable you to build relationships with our customers, help evaluate their needs and determine how M-Files expansions can benefit their business. Your day-to-day tasks will consist of widening your contact base within your selected customers, setting appointments, meeting with customers and demonstrating the product, generating proposals, and most importantly winning new business.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing customers
  • Driving account expansions through upselling, cross-selling and renewal strategies
  • Understanding each customer\'s business goals, challenges, and product usage to deliver ongoing value
  • Assessing customer\'s complex, technical document management/business process needs and develop a comprehensive solutions with M-Files Intelligent Information Management Software
  • Conducting online demos and onsite meetings with customers demonstrating the M-Files Solution
  • Generating sales proposals and negotiating complex sales cycle to close
  • Partnering with Customer Success, Professional Services, Renewals and Product teams to support customer outcomes
  • Holding yourself accountable for yearly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Staying informed on M-Files product updates, roadmap, and new capabilities to share with customers
  • Traveling for customer meetings as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

What we expect from you/Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or expansion-focused SaaS sales or other equivalent experience in a customer-facing position
  • Proactive growth mindset focused on achieving sales targets and a strong enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment
  • Ability to conduct professional, persuasive remote/onsite meetings with software demonstrations.
  • Proven ability to communicate solution\'s value, strengths and benefits with excellent verbal and written communication skills to your clients
  • Ability to listen to the customer, spot customer pain points and translate their needs into actionable tasks and new business proposals
  • Motivated, hungry and open-minded for professional growth
  • Ability to overcome objections and challenges
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g Salesforce.com)
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in information management and/or document/content management
  • Background in industries such as Energy, Manufacturing or Professional Services
  • German, Norwegian, Swedish and/or Danish language skills are advantageous as you will be working in Nordics & DACH Sales team and there might be career progression opportunities within our growing organization in the future

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package: M-Files offers excellent compensation including a base salary plus commission on sales. There is no cap on commission (50/50 split, monthly payout)
