Airbus in Getafe, Spain offers a curricular internship program for final-year engineering students. The role includes a 6-month part-time assignment (5h/day, 25 hours/week) with a tutor for continuous monitoring.

The project covers Additive Manufacturing applications in aerospace, including 3D printing opportunities in aircraft design and maintenance. Selected candidates will work in an international environment, with English B2 and Spanish B1 levels, and apply analytical and problem-solving

Job Description

AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.

What do we offer? : Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.

About practical training

• 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2027
• Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
• Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring

Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student

• Additive Manufacturing Applications in Aerospace Components
• The project will consist in the investigation of opportunities for 3D printing in aircraft design and maintenance. Key study areas include topological optimization of structural fittings and pipe supports (e.g., THSA fittings, fuel piping brackets, 3D-printed elements in maintenance platforms)
