Job summary

KBR at Morón Air Base, Spain, seeks a War Reserve Materiel AGE Corrosion Control Specialist / Welder. This expatriate role blends corrosion control, painting, and fabrication to extend lifecycle of ground support equipment under the USAFE contract.

You will perform surface prep, coatings, welding (MIG/TIG/ARC), read blueprints, and ensure safety/compliance while working in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in corrosion control/industrial painting AND structural welding/ fabrication.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, STICK welding and industrial painting techniques.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Corrosion control and painting of AGE/MMHE components.
• Welding and fabrication of metal parts for support equipment.
• Safety, PPE, and documentation in ELMS/IMDS.
