KBR at Morón Air Base, Spain, seeks a War Reserve Material (WRM) AGE Corrosion Control Specialist / Welder to support the USAFE contract under UABOS. This expatriate role combines corrosion control and fabrication to extend the lifecycle of ground support equipment in a demanding environment.

You will identify, treat, and prevent corrosion on AGE/MMHE, perform surface prep and painting, and fabricate and weld components using steel and aluminum.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in corrosion control and structural welding for heavy ground support equipment.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding and industrial painting techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• U.S. Security Clearance eligibility required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and treat corrosion on AGE and MMHE; prevent degradation.
• Fabricate and weld components using structural steel and aluminum.
• Operate TIG, MIG, ARC welding; read blueprints and orders.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and environmental compliance.
• Document maintenance in ELMS/IMDS and assist AGE mechanics.
• Work in confined spaces and paint booths; lift up to 50 lbs.
